How do Dive Computers work?
Also known as personal decompression computers or decompression meters, Dive Computers are a highly portable form of dive gear that provides core crucial information to the diver. It is often used in Scuba Diving as it is a form of safe and reliable diving equipment - often attached to the wrist - that helps keep the diver informed and safe throughout his scuba diving journey.
What are the different functions of a Dive Computer?Choose from entry level beginner models, to extreme performance for technical exploration dives. They come with different algorithms, features, and therefore different price points just like cars. Some models can be used with a Scuba Diving wireless transmitter, and the dive computer can display how much gas is left, or warn the diver when it reaches the warning factor set before the dives. They are available in wrist watch, puck style, or rectangular form factors, and can be either simple dot matrix to high resolution colour screen versions.
