The Razor Break Away Connector with Bolt Snap allows for easier mounting onto the long hose, while allowing it to break away when in times of emergency. It does not break off when you least want it to, or does not disengage when you want it to, unlike O-Rings that have the aforementioned problems.

This newest design (Version 2 as called by Steve Bogaerts) comes with added improvements, that avoids gliding along the long hose when clipped off.
